Accommodation
The accommodation service CROUS allocates places in the campus halls of residence. There are 6 residences in and around Grenoble with residential places available for international students. The average room is small ( 9m2) but furnished with shared kitchen and shower/toilet facilities in the corridor. Linen is provided. Rent per month is roughly 150 euros. There is one residence on the campus which has en-suite facilities . Here the rent is roughly 275euros a month and includes utility charges.The Grenoble Campus is situated approximately 4 km south-east of Grenoble city centre. There are good transport links with regular bus and tram services to the campus. Private accommodation is available but relatively difficult to find so it’s best to start investigating early. Taking into consideration the cost of living you should calculate a budget of roughly 500 euros a month, inclusive of rent, electricity etc. Contact the International Office (see below) for further information.
